Staunton woman dies in a single-vehicle crash in Augusta County

(STAUNTON – WINA)   There was a fatal accident in Augusta County Monday night.   It happened on Route 11 when Ammal Yousef Hameidan ignored the stop sign on Route 654, went all the way across 11, ran off the road, struck an embankment, and several trees before coming to a stop in a field.

The 39-year-old Staunton woman was not wearing a seat belt.
