JMU Student Found Dead

Harrisonburg Police are investigating the death of a James Madison University undergrad. The JMU student newspaper, The Breeze, is reporting Marisa Curlen of Rye, New York, died Friday.

The Alpha Phi sorority has posted messages that mourn Curlen, who was found unconscious in her bedroom. JMU’s Associate Director of fraternity and sorority life sent a campus-wide e-mail to other students informing them of the 20-year-old’s death.
