Larycia Hawkins say her academic journey has come full circle. Hawkins is a professor who parted company with Wheaton College in Illinois after saying Christians and Muslims worship the same God.

Hawkins was a graduate fellow at the University of Virginia’s Miller Center ten years ago, and is now at UVA’s Institute for Advanced Studies. Hawkins (picture courtesy of the University of Virginia) will examine how multi-racial Christian communities can impact American race relations.
