A man with two degrees from the University of Virginia will succeed Loretta Lynch as a New York-based prosecutor. Kelly Currie is the acting U.S. Attorney for Southern New York.
Currie is a native of Montana who graduated from UVA’s McIntire School of Commerce in 1986. He’s also a 1993 graduate of the UVA Law School. Currie is replacing Lynch, who’s now the nation’s first female African-Amerian Attorney General.
