A Gordonsville man is arrested on a malicious wounding charge

(ORANGE – WINA)    A Gordonsville man faces a malicious wounding charge following the death of a man he allegedly hit on the head with a piece of wood.   It happened during a Wednesday night altercation involving several individuals in Orange County.

Leonard Lee Toombs of Orange was transported to the UVA Medical Center, where he died Thursday.   33-year-old Rodney Wayne Landes of Gordonsville is being held without bond.
