Body of missing Charlottesville woman found inside her home

CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – The body of Molly Meghan Miller, 31, who was last seen as she left her home on Friday, December 29, has been located inside her King Street home.

According to a statement released by the Charlottesville Police Department on Monday evening, “Molly Miller’s body was located in her residence this evening by a Charlottesville Police detective. At this time, there is no reason to believe there is any threat to the public. More details will be provided when appropriate.”

According to her fiance, Miller was last seen leaving the couple’s home around 8:30 Friday night. He filed a missing person report the next day.

Police took bloodhounds to the 900 block of King Street on Monday morning.  During a Monday afternoon news conference, the Charlottesville Police Department said that investigators were looking at multiple security camera videos in the area.
