CAAR highlights a 4.4% increase in home sales

(CHARLOTTESVILLE – WINA)   The Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors is celebrating a 4.4 % increase in home sales between the summer of 2017 and the third quarter of this year.  CAAR announced Wednesday that the median sales price for a home is $309,000.

In addition, the median number of days on the market is 56.   That’s six days fewer than during the same quarter in 2017.  CAAR also found the inventory of homes has decreased by 9.3 %.
