Daniel Gade wins the Republican primary for the U.S. Senate

(ALEXANDRIA – WINA)  Daniel Gade has won the Republican primary for the U.S. Senate.   The 45-year-old from Alexandria turned back challenges Tuesday from Tom Speciale and Alissa Baldwin, and will face two-term Democrat Mark Warner in the November 3rd general election
 
Gade had the largest warchest in the 3 candidate GOP field, and had picked up endorsements from some members of the General Assembly.
