Dozens of teachers honored with Golden Apple Awards

(CHARLOTTESVILLE-  WINA)  Several dozen public and private school teachers from Albemarle County and Charlottesville were honored Thursday afternoon.  These educators were recognized during the 16th annual Golden Apple Awards at the main County Office Building.

The yearly ceremony was started by the Nunley family, who operate Better Living.  Richard and Judy Nunley began the tradition at the start of this century.
