PALMYRA (WINA) – More than a month after downed trees from the January 3rd winter storm closed Pleasant Grove Park in Fluvanna County to hiking, some trails have been reopened.. as well as the disc golf course. Fluvanna County Parks and Rec advises because of a fairly frequent string of winter precipitation, trails are wet and muddy. But they have reopened the Birding, Brush Arbor, Cedar Creek, Cross Hills, Hadens, North Hill, Reds, Quail Meadow… and some of the Heritage Trail… to hiking.

Some trails remain closed as crews continue cleaning up fallen trees.
