ALEXANDRIA (WINA) – The NBA’s Washington Wizards and NHL’s Washington Capitals are coming to Virginia. Governor Youngkin and Monument Sports and Entertainment owner Ted Leonsis… along with Alexandria and other Virginia leaders — have announced a $2-billion, 9-million square foot entertainment district in Alexandria’s Potomac Yard.

Leonsis notes Monumental owns Cap One in DC and he expects to keep the Mystics there, and make it a huge women’s sports and concert arena.
