Hampton Police arrest Julia Tomlin following the disappearance of her young son

(HAMPTON- WINA)   The mother of 2-year-old Noah Tomlin of Hampton has been arrested as federal, state and local authorities continue their search for the young boy.   Hampton Police Chief Terry Sult announced the arrest of 34-year-old Julia Tomlin.

She reported her son was missing the morning of June 24th, and told investigators she woke up to discover he was missing.   The boy’s disappearance sparked a desperate search involving law enforcement agencies, including the state and local police and the FBI.   Tomlin and her young son have shared a trailer in the Buckroe Beach area of Hampton, not far from the Chesapeake Bay.
