Virginia’s junior U.S. Senator says Congress should be able to overturn a recent Supreme Court ruling that lets some companies refuse to include certain contraceptives in employee health coverage. Senator Tim Kaine (D-Richmond) says a majority of the justices decided requiring the contraceptives violated the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. Kaine (pictured) favors amending that 2003 law. Most of the Republicans in Virginia’s congressional delegation support the Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby decision.
