A Louisa County man has been arrested following an internet child sex sting in Florida. The Volusia County, Florida Sheriff’s Office says 42-year-old Timothy Carl Tate of Bumpass was arrested by undercover agents.

The law enforcement agency used social media, emails and text messages to arrange sexual encounters with agents who posed as children who are 14 or younger. Media outlets in Florida say Tate was on vacation with his family when he went to meet an underage child in the Daytona Beach area.
