Federal Prosecutor Grills McDonnell On Family Finances

Former Governor Bob McDonnell had a long day on the witness stand during a Monday session in Richmond federal court. McDonnell and his wife Maureen are on trial because of the loans and gifts they received from Jonnie Williams, the former CEO of Star Scientific. Federal proscutor Michael Dry grilled McDonnell about MoBo Realty, which he and a sister operate in Virginia Beach. McDonnell told Dry the real estate venture had an operating deficit for the past six years. He goes back on the witness stand Tuesday.
