Sally Hudson launches her bid for a House of Delegates seat


(CHARLOTTESVILLE- WINA)   A UVA professor who’s challenging incumbent David Toscano in a Democratic primary for a House of Delegates seat had her campaign kickoff Wednesday night at Champion Brewing.

Sally Hudson lists her priority issues as health care costs and affordable housing.  Toscano is a former Charlottesville Mayor who joined the House of Delegates after the 2005 election cycle.

He’s been the House Minority Leader since 2011, but he plans to give up the party leadership post in 2019.
