Charlottesville Police have diffused a situation in the Belmont area

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA-WINA – The Charlottesville Police issued an alert regarding an armed individual in the Belmont area of the City at 7:42a.m.  The Police have diffused the situation and there is no threat to the public.  The release from CPD is below:

“UPDATE: Officers have located the subject and diffused the situation. There is no threat to the public. Thank you for sharing this message in effort to keep our community safe.”
