The indoor pools at the Smith Aquatic and Fitness Center will close for repairs from Monday, July 13tb running until Friday, August 28th. The work will address air quality, staff and visitor health, and corrosion.

The city says units to remove chloramines from the air will be installed. The closing only affects the indoor pools and the locker rooms on the lower level at Smith. The fitness area and group exercise studio will operate as normal.

Crow Pool on Rose Hill Drive will be open on a modified schedule for lap swimming and water aerobics. A detailed schedule for swimming at Crow Pool can be found on the main Parks and Recreation web page at www.charlottesville.org/parksandrec.
