Staunton caregiver charged in death of two-year-old

On June 20, 2022 Christopher S. Hoover, 23, of Staunton, VA was arrested by the Staunton Police Department as a result of an investigation into the death of a two-year-old child that occurred on June 18, 2022. Hoover was charged with Second Degree Murder and is being held without bond at Middle River Regional Jail.
