SUV driver killed in Wednesday morning Route 29 Greene County crash

RUCKERSVILLE (WINA) – State Police are investigating a fatal crash Wednesday morning on 29 in Ruckersville. Shortly before 11:30am, a Ford Transit was on Commerce Drive pulling across Route 29 into the path of a northbound Ford Explorer.
The two vehicles collided with the impact causing the Explorer to run off the road and hit a building.

The adult male driver in the Explorer died at the scene, and an adult female passenger transported to a hospital with serious injuries. The van driver was transported for treatment of injuries… the extent of which State Police are not reporting.

Charges are pending.
