WINA radio host and SchillingShow.com founder Rob Schilling has received the information he requested after initiating a lawsuit against Greene County. It deals with a Freedom of Information Act request.
Schilling requested information concerning a loan that the Greene supervisors made to the county administrator. Schilling also requested a copy of the employment contract of County Administrator John Barkley. The contract has been provided and Greene County also sent him about 20 pages of emails. Schilling says initially he was stonewalled in trying to get information.
Schilling says he hopes the situation serves as a warning to wayward government officials statewide. He says they are bound by the law and not by personal fancy.
