Volvo has reversed itself, and will not lay off 500 workers at a plant in Pulaski County. The company says it wants to stay flexible, and won’t cut the payroll at its North American truck headquarters.
Volvo announced before Christmas it had scheduled more layoffs for mid-February. Those plans have been scrapped and it will continue to employ 2200 workers.
