ACPD arrests wanted Crozet man after Thursday evening pursuit

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Albemarle County Police arrested a wanted man Thursday evening after a short pursuit in Crozet.

ACPD officers initiated a traffic stop on Lanetown Rd. on a wanted person, 41-year old Jonathan A. Iseman of Crozet, at 7:08 p.m. The vehicle did not yield for responding officers and a pursuit was initiated.

Officers were able to safely bring the vehicle to a stop with a controlled maneuver. The suspect then fled on foot

Following the brief foot chase, officers were able to apprehend Iseman with no further incident. No one was hurt. Iseman was charged with felony eluding with further charges pending in this incident.

Iseman was also wanted for felony probation violations in Augusta County, Rockbridge County and Waynesboro, and for failing to appear on a breaking and entering charge in Charlottesville.

He’s being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail without bond.
