Albemarle’s County Attorney retiring after two years on the job

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Albemarle County Attorney Steve Rosenberg is retiring after two years in the position. Rosenberg announces his retirement effective September 1 after providing legal counsel to the Board of Supervisors’ Office, the County Executive’s Office, and all county departments. Board of Supevisors Chair Jim Andrews says he’s been crucial in the acquisition of the 462 acres of land that’s part of the Rivanna Futures project. At the time of his retirement, Rosenberg will have worked for Albemarle County for two years, capping 27 years in the public sector.
