CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW)- Ronald McDonald House Charlottesville has a new look.

A nationwide rebranding has the familiar 9th Street location sporting a logo adorned with a red house that encloses a white, hand drawn heart inside.  The website, social media, signage, donor communications, and the entirety of its presence across the community and the nation will feature the new logo, according to an announcement from the organization.

“While our look is evolving, our mission remains exactly the same,” Bryan Harris, Chief Executive Officer of the Charlottesville chapter, said in a statement. “Every day, we see the impact that keeping families together has on a child’s healing journey. This refreshed identity better reflects the warmth, care, and community that families experience here in Charlottesville.”

The new logo is meant to evoke the warmth, ease, and welcoming nature of home, reflecting the organization’s mission of helping those in need. A new tagline accompanies the logo: “Family stays.”  It is a reference to the ongoing commitment to keep families together while their children receive the medical care they need, according to Ronald McDonald House.

The rebranding highlights the role the local chapter of the Ronald McDonald House place in those receiving much needed medical care from UVA Health Children’s from across the country. UVA Health Children’s is one of a number of regional medical care providers the Ronald McDonald House serves.
