Malcolm Brogdon Joins Anthony Gill on Washington Wizards in UVA Reunion

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) — Malcolm Brogdon is set to reunite with former University of Virginia teammate Anthony Gill on the Washington Wizards following his trade from the Portland Trailblazers. This marks Brogdon’s fourth team change in five years.

The duo, who previously contributed significantly to the University of Virginia’s basketball success between 2014 and 2016, including an ACC regular season title and an Elite Eight appearance in 2016, are both now positioned to potentially enhance the Wizards’ lineup as they prepare for the upcoming season.

While there is speculation that Brogdon could be moved again in pursuit of future draft picks, for now, Virginia fans can look forward to the pair bringing their collegiate chemistry back to the professional courts.
