Ruckersville pastor charged with additional child sex crimes

MADISON COUNTY, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Greene County pastor already accused of child sex crimes is facing now facing charges in Madison County.

Indictments against Victory Church pastor Rodney Locklear, 47, were returned on March 4.

The latest charges are three counts of indecent liberties with a child and one count each of abduction of a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and sexual penetration with an object.

The charges in Greene County are one count of abduction with intent to defile and two counts of aggravated sexual battery by force of someone age 13 to 14.

According to court paperwork, the Madison County abduction took place last August, with the other allegations in both counties happening May 1 and May 5 of 2023.

Locklear is being held without bond but has appealed.
