CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) — Virginia women’s lacrosse assistant coach Kady Glynn will be playing in net for Germany at the 2026 Nissin Foods World Lacrosse Women’s Championship in Tokyo beginning Friday, July 24.

Glynn has worked as a goalkeeping specialist for Sonia LaMonica’s staff since July 2025 after a stint as an assistant coach at Richmond. Glynn is the keeper for the Boston Guard in the WLL, which launched last year.

She has already represented Germany once in her professional career, playing in net during the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships in Utica, New York.

Glynn and Germany will play against Wales, Australia, and Canada in Pool B, which runs until July 28. 16 teams in four pools face each other in the group stage before the knockouts begin July 29. The bronze and gold medal games will be played on August 2.
