Wednesday 7/11 News At Noon

  • Glorietta–“Heatstroke”: The band is Matthew Logan Vasquez, Noah Gundersen, Kelsey Wilson (Wild Child), David Ramirez, Adrian Quesada (Black Pumas, Brown Out), and Jason Robert Blum. MLV had the idea to start this band simply because he wanted to make music with his friends. Their self-titled debut was recorded in a rented house in Glorieta, NM over the course of 9 days and is out on August 24th. MLV wrote this track with Kelsey Wilson. The band will be at Newport Folk at the end of the month and will be doing a headlining tour in the fall. 
  • Hop Along–“Somewhere A Judge”: The second single from the Philly band’s third album, Bark Your Head Off Dog. Catch them at the Southern on the 28th. 
  • DeVotchKa–“Straight Shot”: The band ends their 7 year hiatus with the new album This Night Falls Forever which drops on August 24th and they will be announcing a Fall headlining tour soon.
