Wednesday 5/31 News At Noon

Electric Guest–“Oh Devil” Feat. Devin Da Dokta: From the sophomore album, Plural, the duo are touring with Portugal. The Man in June and playing on Conan in July and at Outside Lands in August.

Silversun Pickups–“Latchkey Kids (Joywave Remix)”: The band is on tour with Third Eye Blind this summer and will be releasing more remixes in the summer and fall.

Parker Longbough–“Hall Pass”: Parker Longbough is the moniker of Matthew Witthoeft from Anchorage, Alaska and the song is off of the new album, Bridges To Nowhere. 

Wednesday 5/31 Two For the Road

Jessica Hernandez & The Deltas–“Oh No”: Hernandez’s new album, Telephone/Telefono is available in both English and Spanish and is out June 23rd. She will be in DC on June 10th.

Lea Porcelain–“Similar Familiar”: The new record, Hymns In The Night, drops on June 16th. There is an introductory film that showcases the band recording and living at Funkhaus in Berlin over the course of two years.

Thursday 6/1 News At Noon

Rad Horror–“Sad Boy”: The 4-piece out of North Jersey includes Anthony Peterpaul or Little Devil and fronted by Dylan Scott of Young Rising Sons. Scott also co-wrote Halsey’s album, Badlands.

Kyle Craft–“Chelsea Motel #2”: The Portland, Oregon artist’s debut album came out last year and the Leonard Cohen cover is his first single since its release.

Alex Ebert–“Broken Record”: Ebert is best known as the frontman for Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros. This song is his first solo release since 2012 and the video is out now.

All Time Low–“Good Times”: From the 7th and latest album, Last Young Renegade. It was the first song they wrote for the album. Alex Gaskarth says, “writing this song set us on a path that would lead to this world of night drives, rain-slicked streets, and the neon hum of a small town fit for escaping”.

The Suburbs–“Hey Muse!”: The title track to the new wave/punk/funk band’s new record that drops on the 23rd. The band has been a Minneapolis staple since the 70s.

The Outdoor Type–“On My Mind”: The new single from the upcoming album Day Today by the Melbourne band fronted by songwriter, singer and guitarist Zack Buchanan.

Beach Fossils–“Tangerine”: The Brooklyn band formed in 2009 as a solo project of Dustin Payseur and the whole band had supporting roles in the HBO show Vinyl. The new record Somersault is out now.

Behold The Brave–“Great American Challenge”: The band’s self-titled sophomore album drops on July 7th. They’re based in Nashville now but originally from Chattanooga.

Porches–“Morpha Too”: The Big Star cover is from the Cover Your Ass Vol. 1 compilation, 100% of proceeds from which go to Planned Parenthood. It also includes covers by Derrhoof (covering Public Enemy’s “Fight The Power”), Speedy Ortiz, The Lemon Twigs, Hinds, TEEN and the Cass Mccombs band.
