American Football–“Desire Gets In The Way”: From their self-titled highly anticipated sophomore release which is their first in a quarter of a century. They will be announcing a fall tour soon.

Jonatha Brooke–“Midnight. Hallelujah.”: Off of er first album since 2008. She took a break in 2010 to care for her mother who suffered from Alzheimer’s Disease. Since her mother’s passing in 2012 she has created and performed in a one-woman Off-Broadway musical and is currently writing another.

Nick Waterhouse Featuring Leon Bridges–“Katchit”: His third full-length album, Never Twice, dropped last Friday and was produced by Michael McHugh (Allah-Las, Black Lips, Ty Segall). He will be in DC on the 12th.

Colvin & Earle–“Tell moses”: From their self-titled album out now. They recently played on Conan and aren’t touring together anymore but Steve Earle will be in DC on October 21st.

Dan Layus–“Driveway”: He spent twelve years as the front-man of Augustana. They broke up in 2013 and he moved to Nashville. His new album, Dangerous Things, was recorded there in one week. He will be announcing a full tour soon.

Katastro–“Waste The Night”: The quartet from Tempe Arizona formed in 2007. Their fifth studio album, Strange Nights, dropped last week.
