  • King Tuff–“Psycho Star”: Kyle Thomas AKA King Tuff self-produced this album but it was mixed by Shawn Everett (Alabama Shakes, War on Drugs). King Tuff is in DC on May 16th. 
  • Loma–“Relay Runner”: The debut self-titled album from the Shearwater and Cross Record collaboration is out February 16th and they’re in DC May 2nd.
  • Kyle Craft–“Exile Rag”: His record Full Circle Nightmare was produced by Chris Funk of The Decemberists. Craft will be opening for Dr. Dog at The Jefferson on April 20th.

  • Frankie Cosmos–“Being Alive”: THe NYC based band’s new album, Vessel, is out March 30th and they’re in Richmond on May 11th and DC May 12th.

  • James Bay–“Wild Love”: Catch him in DC on April 12th. Explaining his new sound he says that he did not want to be pegged as the “intimate acoustic guitar guy.”

  • Field Music–“Share A Pillow”: From the duo of David and Peter Brewis’s first new album in two years, Open Here. 
  • Shakey Graves–“Kids These Days”: The new record, Can’t Wake Up, drops May 4th and he’ll be in Charlottesville May 10th.

  • At Face Value–“Cinderella”: Off of the Baltimore Band’s new EP, Ivy & Echo. They also have a full album coming later in the year.
  • The Frights–“Valentine’s Sux”: The surf punk band of Marc Finn, Mikey Carnevale and Richard Dotson have been booked on Shaky Knees!
  • Okkervil River–“Don’t Move Back To LA”: From the new record The Rainbow Rain, hitting the shelves on April 23rd.
