-Wakey Wakey–“Golden”: The stage name of Michael Grubbs, a Richmond native who has played piano since the age of 5. His album Overactivist is out February 26th.

-Operators–“Cold Light”: Operators is the new band from Dan Boeckner of Divine Fits, Wolf Parade and The Handsome Furs. Their debut Blue Wave is out on April 1st.

-Penny & Sparrow–“Finery”: The Austin duo’s album Let A Lover Drown is out on March 11th and was produced by John Paul White (The Civil Wars) and Ben Turner (Alabama Shakes).

-OJR–“Numb”: Oliver John-Rogers is a Virginia native. His album is entitled Nashville Demos, and he is currently on tour with Rayland Baxter.

-Star & Micey–“Get ‘Em Next Time”: This is the title track to their forthcoming album which was produced by Mark Neill who produced The Black Key’s Brothers. It drops on March 11th.
