Sean Rowe–“Newton’s Cradle”: He is currently on tour with Neko Case and was in the Corner Lounge before their show at The Jefferson today. His latest effort, New Lore, hits shelves on April 7th.

Marcus King Band–“Rita Is Gone”: From the self-titled record that is currently available. They are included in the Lockn’ lineup.
Taj Mahal & Keb Mo –“Don’t Leave Me Here”: From the artists’ self-produced first collaboration album, Taj Mo, out May 5th. Tour dates TBA.

Brandi & The Alexanders–“How Do You Like It”: The first single from the soul/rock/funk band out of New York, currently working on their full-length debut. Led by Brandi Thompson, they’ve been around since 2012 and also consist of Nick Fokas on guitar, Eric Windell on bass and Eric Gottlieb on drums.
Holly MacVe–“Heartbreak Blues”: From the 21 year old’s debut album, Golden Eagle. She was born in Galway but raised in Yorkshire and is performing at South By Southwest this week and in DC on May 20th.
Horse Thief–“Evil’s Rising”: Their sophomore album, Trials & Truths is out now and is the follow-up to their 2014 album Fear In Bliss. The band is fronted by Cameron Neal and the record was produced by Thom Monahan (Vetiver, Devendra Banhart). They are also at South By Southwest this week.
