Daniel Romano–“Valerie Leon”: His 6th album, Mosey, came out last month and he dropped a surprise second album entitled Ancient Shapes at the same time. He will be touring the US in late August, dates coming soon.

The Lumineers–“Cleopatra”: The title track from their sophomore album. Catch them at the Sprint Pavilion on September 13th with Borns and Rayland Baxter.

Whitehorse–“My Babe”: The “roots noir” duo of Luke Doucet and Melissa McLelland have a new EP, The Northern South Vol. 1, consisting of Willie Dixon covers.

Blind Pilot–“Umpqua Rushing”: Blind Pilot’s ten-song album, And Then Like Lions, drops in August. Umpqua Rising was the first song written for the album and is Israel Nebeker’s reflection on the end of a thirteen-year relationship. Umpqua is a river in Oregon and is used in the song as a metaphor for the pulling current of a relationship. They will be in DC on September 23rd.

Butch Walker–“East Coast Girl”: Butch Walker’s eighth solo record, Stay Gold, will be released in August. After Rolling Stone referred to him as a “200 pound tornado of rock and roll destruction” he chose to name his tour that. The Wind + The Wave (whose new record he produced) and Suzanne Santos of HoneyHoney will be opening. Catch him in DC on August 24th.

Elle King–“Good Girls”: From the soundtrack to the new Ghost Busters movie hitting theaters on July 15th.
