Jamie Lidell–“Walk Right Back”: His new album, Building A Beginning, drops in October and is a “musical celebration” of the changes in his life–his recent move to Nashville with his wife and the birth of their first son. U.S. tour dates will be announced soon.

Ninet–“Superstar”: The Israeli alternative artist is also a DJ and actress. Her forthcoming fifth album is as yet unnamed and set for a fall release.

The Veils–“Low Lay The Devil”: Their latest release, Total Depravity, was co-produced with El-P of Run The Jewels and hits stores on August 26th. There is also an expected winter tour.

Bad Suns–“Disappear Here”: The title track from their forthcoming album, expected out in September.

Michael Kiwanuka–“Falling”: From his new album Love and Hate which drops tomorrow. He will be announcing a U.S. tour soon.

Grouplove–“Welcome To Your Life”: Their new album Big Mess drops in September and they will be in DC on November 9th.

Kishi Bashi–“Say Yeah”: His third release, Sonderlust, is set for a September release and was produced by Grizzly Bear bassist, Chris Taylor.

Monday 7/18 News at Noon

Descendants–“Victim Of Me”: From their seventh album, Hypercaffium Spazzinate, out the 29th. It is their first release since 2004 when the band went on hiatus so singer Michael Aukerman could be a biology teacher.

K.T. Tunstall–“Maybe It’s A Good Thing”: Her new record, Kin, drops in September and she will be in DC on September 14th.

Syd Arthur–“Apricity”: The title track to his latest full-length, due out in October. Catch him in DC on September 29th.

Cass McCombs–“Run Sister Run”: His 9th album (though first on a major label), Mangy Love, drops on August 29th. He played the Primavera festival last month and is on tour now, though there are no dates in this area.

Paul and The Tall Trees–“Once In A While”: Paul is from Staten Island and this is the first single from his debut full-length record.

Wilco–“If I Ever Was A Child”: On the anniversary of the release of their last album, Star Wars, Wilco announced their next one, Schmilco, set for an early September release.
