Bon Iver–“33 “God””: From their upcoming third LP, 22, A Million, out September 23rd. They debuted the entire album earlier this month at the Eau Claire Music and Arts Fest in front man, Justin Vernon’s hometown of Eau Claire, WI. They’re playing select shows in the fall and will be announcing a worldwide tour soon.

Greensky Bluegrass–“Past My Prime”: Similar to Trampled By Turtles, Greensky Bluegrass built a name for themselves playing festivals. They’ve performed at Bonnaroo, Hang Out, Outside Lands, Austin City Limits and more. The new record, Shouted, Written Down and Quoted was produced by Steve Berlin (Los Lobos) and comes out September 23rd. It is their sixth album, all of which have been released independently on their label Big Blue Zoo Records. They’re playing Richmond on September 28th.

R.E.M.: “Radio Song” a previously unreleased version of the tune off of Out of Time, being re-issued after twenty-five years. The new release includes unreleased demos, rare live performances, videos on Blu Ray and more.

Bear’s Den–“Red Earth & Pouring Rain”:The London band’s title track to their sophomore effort which is out now. Their upcoming tour, including a date in DC on September 15th, is entirely sold out.

Gary Clark Jr.–“Take Me Down”: he played at Lockn’ this past weekend. This new song is from he soundtrack to the forthcoming movie Deepwater Horizon starring Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russell, John Malkovich and Kate Hudson. It is about the Deepwater Horizon explosion and oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010. The film is set for a September release.

Red Hot Chili Peppers–“Go Robot”: From their eleventh album The Getaway, Produced by Danger Mouse. They started working on the album in 2014 but had to take a break because Flea broke his arm while snowboarding. Anthony Kiedis says that most of the songs are influence by a twenty-four year relationship that fell apart.
