1/8 – David Byrne has just announced a new song/album/video…American Utopia will be out 3/9.  Byrne says the upcoming choreographed world tour is “the most ambitious show I’ve done since the shows that were filmed for Stop Making Sense.  The songs are sincere – the (album) title is not ironic.”

1/9 – Bat Fangs has a new video out this week!  The duo feat. Betsy Wright, formerly of DC’s Ex Hex & Charlottesville’s The Fire Tapes

1/10 – just in time for Jeff’s birthday, news came this week of the 1st Breeders album in 10 years!  And it’s the 1st with this lineup since Last Splash in ’93.  Here’s a teaser video for All Nerve, out 3/2.

1/11 – new Jack White video just debuted this week from his upcoming album Boarding House Reach

1/12 – Anderson East releases his new album Encore today.  His new video has kind of a Wes Anderson vibe to it, no?
