10/17 – last Monday, Death Cab For Cutie offered up the 1st track from a 30 Days, 30 Songs project that promises a track a day leading up to the election “written & recorded by artists for a Trump-Free America” – see the ominous video above…

10/18 – Jim James is also part of the 30 Days, 30 Songs project & has just released another song from his upcoming solo album (out 11/4), but it doesn’t really have a proper video to go with it yet, so here’s the initial track that got released & also appears on the 30/30 project, “Same Old Lie”

10/19 – tonight is the night!  The Corner Welcomes John Paul White (formerly of The Civil Wars) back to The Southern!  He’ll be in for a Corner Lounge around 3pm.  Here’s a video for a song he did with Americana producer du jour Dave Cobb for a compilation called Southern Family

10/20 – Maggie Rogers has just released a new video for “Alaska”

10/21 – Todd Snider is in town tonight at The Jefferson…here’s his new video!
