10/25 – the Canadian band Stars released a new album earlier this month & they’ve got our Free Download of the week this week.  They just recently performed 3 new songs on a hotel rooftop in Toronto…they also did a Tragically Hip cover for the recently departed Gord Downie.

10/26 – Hamilton Leithauser (ex- of The Walkmen) has a new duet with Angel Olsen (who you can see next month at The Jefferson)

10/27 – Side 3 of The Corner’s 11th birthday celebration is Japandroids with Cloud Nothings tmrw (10/28) at The Jefferson!  Japandroids were just on Seth Meyers’ NBC show…
