11/14 –  we’re still missing Leonard Cohen, who passed away Thursday night.  U2 got to do “Tower of Song” with him at The Slipper Room in NYC for the film “Leonard Cohen: I’m Your Man” (see above)

and here’s his 1st ACL visit, recorded on Halloween night 1988 on the I’m Your Man tour and first broadcast in 1989.

11/15 – another Rock and Rock Hall of Fame musician Leon Russell passed away Sunday.  Here’s his “A Song For You” with help from Willie Nelson & Ray Charles!

11/16 – as heard Monday on Two For the Road (and previously on The News at Noon), Middle Kids are a new Australian trio with a cool new animated video

11/17 – The Flaming Lips have a new album due out in January.  Here’s the 1st single

11/18 – Pete Yorn did an iPhone contest with fans who submitted videos for his new track, “She Was Weird”…the winner was directed by & stars Brazilian model Flavia Lucini.
