Videos of the Day – week of 11/17

bonus video above is the new Band Aid 30 version of “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” to fight Ebola in Africa…

11/17 – you should check out BTC fave Jessica Lea Mayfield tonight at The Southern!  Here’s a video from her 2014 album Make My Head Sing…

11/18 – with the news of U2 not being able to perform this week on The Tonight Show due to Bono getting injured while cycling in Central Park, it took me all of about 5 minutes to find this 1987 footage of Bono performing with an injured arm alongside Bruce Springsteen!

What did The Tonight Show do without U2?  Jimmy Fallon did a pretty Bono-esque job on “Desire” last night with The Roots!

11/19 – the new Brooklyn trio Wet has a 4-song EP out now on Columbia Records…this track’s been kicking around online for the better part of a year, but there’s SO MUCH MUSIC out there, sometimes it takes even ME a while to really hear it!  Let the record show the Neon Gold label (which is in kahoots with Columbia & Atlantic) put out this EP first, in Oct. of 2013.

11/20 – Here’s a cool new one from Hundred Waters, a Florida band that got stranded in the snow this week on tour with Interpol!
