This Just In

Videos of the Day – week of 12/2/19

12/2 – Hot Snakes are back!

12/3 – there are SO MANY outlets out there now doing “Corner Lounge”-like sessions on the interwebs & Miette Hope has done several of them…this is one of the cooler ones we’ve seen, esp. as far as one-person-bands go…

12/4 – if you’re wondering who provides the haunting “voice” that calls to Elsa in the new Frozen II movie, it’s Aurora, the Norwegian artist we’ve played on BTC over the years (she released her debut in 2016 & her 2nd album this past summer, along with a couple of EPs in 2015 & 2018).  Here’s a recent concert she did for a TV show in her native country, which apparently was a “secret” show of sorts. Program manager Christine Dancke surprised Aurora by inviting friends and her biggest fans…we just wish there were subtitles!

12/5 – Ed O’Brien of Radiohead has released a new 9-minute song & short film under the moniker EOB with a full album to follow in 2020!

12/6 – Late night highlights this week: Beck was on Jimmy Kimmel Live with a pretty cool version of his new single…

…meanwhile, Alanis Morissette was on The Tonight Show celebrating the opening of Broadway musical Jagged Little Pill that’s based on her songs plus she has a new album & tour coming next year.  She did a little busking & her new single:
