2/12 – The Breeders are back with a new album March 2nd…here’s Kim Deal covering an old Mike Nesmith song for the B-side to the 1st single…

2/13 – Richmond’s Lucy Dacus also has a new album out 3/2…here’s the new video she directed for the 1st single.  She’ll be back at The Southern 3/7!

2/14 – as heard last Thursday on TFR, here’s the new video from Seattle trio Naked Giants.  Their debut album’s out 3/30.

2/15 – UK quartet Goat Girl “are ready to turn indie music on its head and rip its guts out” according to The Guardian.  Their self-titled debut album’s out 4/6 on Rough Trade & they’ll make their stateside debut at SXSW in Austin next month.

2/16 – somehow we missed these 2 from the Fallon gang last week…the 1st is a timely update to a Dylan classic while they were in Bob’s home state for the live post-Super Bowl show and the 2nd is decidedly lighter fare…how much time do those shot-for-shot remakes take???
