Videos of the Day – week of 2/26/18

2/26 – you heard Nilufer Yanya on Two For the Road last week…here’s her take on a Pixies classic that originally put her on the map in 2016…

2/27 – as heard today on the News at Noon, an intense new video from Ruby Rose Fox

2/28 – we played a new single from Katie Toupin Monday on Two For The Road…here’s a recent video she’s posted covering a Janis Joplin classic (a duet with past Corner Lounge guest Daniel Martin Moore)!  Katie’s been in the Corner Lounge too, twice with her old band Houndmouth (2013 & 2015)

3/1 – Adriel Denae has made music for years with her partner Cory Chisel.  In early 2014 she embarked on her first solo venture, recording with Norah Jones as her producer. Shortly after completion, a surprising twist brought her first child and a new project of stewardship in Northeast Wisconsin. Her focus shifted for 3 years, while she learned to care for an 80 year old former monastery on 11 acres of land while also forming an Arts Foundation to support artist residencies in the space. Inspired by her new surroundings and immersion in nature and motherhood, she also created a natural skin care line based on midwifery techniques from the 1800’s with partner, Jen Auerbach.  Her beautiful new song, also produced by Norah Jones, now has a video to go along with it.

3/2 – Jack White has released another song & video from his new album due out 3/23…
