3/5 – Donna Missal is for fans of everything from fellow NJ artist Halsey to Sia to Janis Joplin…she sang on a Macklemore song, co-wrote some of her debut album This Time (that came out back in the fall) with Sharon Van Etten and she just finished a 2-week run of small club shows in the U.S. including one in DC.  She was on Seth Meyers’ late night NBC show in Jan. & here’s her new video for the track we played on 2 For the Road last week…

3/6 – The Meat Puppets are back with their original drummer for the 1st time on record since ’95!  New album’s out Friday

3/7 – as heard on TFR this week, Ambar Lucid just released her debut EP last Friday.  She’s an 18-year-old Dominican/Mexican-American artist who will be playing SXSW in Austin, TX later this month.  The video was shot on a recent trip to Mexico where she met her younger sister for the very first time. Her sister plays the role of a young Ambar in the video

3/8 – Yola was the subject of last week’s Worth Its Weight album review & here’s the new song we’re playing on The Corner (watch for the twist at the end!)
