7/1 – news broke today of Janet Weiss leaving Sleater-Kinney.  Sad for sure, but this might be the most radio-friendly track the band has ever made, from their upcoming St. Vincent-produced album due out 8/16

7/2 – this week has also brought news of The Festy lineup for this October, which includes David Wax Museum.  You heard their new single on Two For the Road tonight & look for their new, Carl Broemel-produced album Line of Light 8/23.  This video was shot at The Common House in Cville & released earlier this year

7/3 – as you’re awaiting the new Stranger Things season to hit Netflix tomorrow, here’s a Thom Yorke/Paul Thomas Anderson project that just hit that platform last week, with a full album’s worth of Yorke music to go with it

7/4 – Lucy Dacus says Happy 4th of July in her own unique way, as she continues her series of singles this year tied into holidays

7/5 – last week, Manchestra Orchestra released their take on a Frightened Rabbit song to go with the Tiny Changes project, which features many amazing folks paying tribute to the band’s Midnight Organ Fight album on its 10-year anniversary.
