Videos of the Day – week of 7/18/16

7/18 – hopefully you’ve heard the new Chvrches “Bury It” song with an assist from Haley of Paramore!  In the video above (closing in on a million YouTube views at the time of posting), they are cartoon superheroes!  Awesome!

7/19 – Tonight, Ryan Adams is town at Sprint Pavilion!  While he closed out his sold-out show at that venue last May with his version of “Wonderwall,” you may’ve heard he covered 2 other Oasis songs the other night in Pittsburgh (with Noel Gallagher’s band opening for him, mind you).  Here’s his version of “Supersonic”

7/20 – Toronto indie-rockers Weaves put out their self-titled full-length debut last month.   Here’s the video for the 1st single, “One More”

7/21 – We’ve been loving the new sister trio Joseph & they’ve got a new video now for “White Flag!”  Spoiler alert: the white flag does indeed get burned!

7/22 – Margaret Glaspy’s new video for “You and I” is also out now…be advised, there is a naughty word in the 1st verse (this ain’t the radio edit, folks)
