8/15 – cool new live video for Jade Bird’s new single…looks like Vevo is not totally going away, but rather is in cahoots with YouTube now with this DSCVR (at 1st we were like VCR, what?  oh, DISCOVER, lol) thing

8/16 – The inimitable Cat Power’s 10th album is due out 10/5.  The 1st single features Lana Del Rey

8/17 – Leeds (UK) singer/songwriter Hannah Trigwell came to our attention via one of our coworkers discovering her mostly acoustic cover song videos on YouTube…her new single is in more of an electro-pop direction.  Her debut album RED is out in 2 weeks…
