8/21 – Laura Burhenn of The Mynabirds says, “This song is about resiliency,” she said. “What do you do in the face of trauma? Do you lay down and give up or do you say, I’m going to fight, I’m gonna fight, I’m gonna fight?”  Their new album is out Friday on Saddle Creek and she provided more insight into the song, album & video recently in W magazine

8/22 – RAC won a Grammy last year for his remix of “Tearing Me Up” by Bob Moses.  His star-studded new album feat. Rivers Cuomo of Weezer, K.Flay, and on this track, Rostam (ex- of Vampire Weekend).

8/23 – Widowspeak has a new album out Friday, which they will apparently be offering on cassette as well.  They’ve put 2 new tracks online in recent days, including “The Dream”

8/24 – earlier this month, Lorde was joined by her Melodrama musical partner Jack Antonoff (of Bleachers and fun.) for a Paul Simon cover at the Outside Lands festival in San Francisco…
